“It certainly do effect private tennants, if they are single person on benifit and are renting a 2 bed flat then you will have to pay an extra £14 for that extra bedroom, or move to 1 bed accomadation. Private tenants who are working of course will not have to pay the extra, as they will be paying the full rental themselves.. but, as i say if they are on benifits the £14 for that extra bedroom will apply. as long as you pay that £14 then eviction do not apply.
If your getting £80 per week in housing benifit then after the 1st of April you will get £66 per week benifit. The government is saying that if you don't like it, then move to a bedsit or 1 bed flat...

“Of course, yes, you are right it will affect private tennants on benefits. It is really unfair that an elderly person can have lived in a 3 bed house on their own for 30 years and won't be affected but someone with children who really in many circumstances need their space, should be affected.

Children have so many changes now and they are in need of a 3 bed house rather than a pensioner on her or his own. 2 spare bedrooms for a pensioner and to be unaffected is a peetake, especially when some of them are far more well off than a young family.

Of course, this government are very dependant on the grey vote. As for the opinion of our MP, does he have an opinion on anything aside acadamies? Oh yes, foxhunting, because foxhunters propped up his election so he is in their bag, gay marriage!!
