“As pointless as changing the name might be, moving it a few spaces across the tabs seems deliberately obstructive. Does TiG want readers to have discussions? The answer seems to be no.
Their time may be better spent re-jigging the What's On page so that impending one-off occasions such as fetes and fun days aren't obscured by opening times for various parks or, as seems to be the case now, starting times for weekly course that began in 2012...”

“On the "Community" page, the default setting at the top for "Now showing" is set to "Most recently active". But on the news pages, the default is set to "Latest".
Please TiG, can you set the news pages back to "Most recently active", like it used to be. Makes no sense for the 2 menus to have different settings.”

“Typical TiG, removing all comments from the Phil Staddon article. Did I miss any?

“Council workers are not the only ones who are 'fuming'. If TiG won't get the answers we require, will they at least let us discuss this deplorable situation, rather than blocking comments on relevant articles?

“And good call on the "Now Showing" setting, Matt1006. Until you mentioned it, I never realised we could change the settings so articles being commented on would be 'bumped' to the front pages. Why indeed can't TiG make this the default for news as well as 'Forums', as was?”

“Ysedra - I can't take credit for it. Before the site was refreshed (again), there was already a forum posting asking the same question. Clearly it's not been addressed / resolved, as the news page and the community page still have different default settings for the ordering of the articles.
Sort it out, TiG, or at least provide us with an explanation as to why there is no consistency between the pages.”
“TIG why have the Forum logo disapeared, just found it under 'community. Do you like playing stupid games, or is it your brains addled..”
