Kingham Hill School

Kingham Hill School is an independent day and boarding school for boys and girls. Our stunning campus houses outstanding facilities which provide a warm and welcoming learning environment for all of our pupils. Here at Kingham Hill we select pupils who are likely to flourish in our learning environment both academically and personally rather than on their current academic achievements.

Our day school comprises of a five-day teaching week between Monday and Friday. Our fees for day pupils are competitive and offer great value for money as we find that our daily routines and nurturing environment allow students to achieve up to one full grade more than they may do usually if taught elsewhere. In trusting Kingham Hill with your child’s academic education, we feel that a bigger and more prosperous future can be opened for them.

Day pupils have full access to our extensive facilities and the day houses for both girls and boys have been newly refurbished to include a complete learning environment including a classroom and common room which is fully equipped with personal lockers, showers and changing areas. Our day pupils can choose to partake in weekend activities and occasional sleepovers for an additional fee.

Kingham Hill has offered boarding provisions to the majority of students for 125 years. Consequently we understand that it can take a while for our students to settle in. We therefore have developed our six beautiful purpose-built boarding houses to meet the needs of today’s young people. Each house has two dedicated houseparents and a team of tutors and pastoral assistants to ensure the safety and happiness of the students.

Kingham Hill also has a Sixth Form college with its own dedicated facilities. It is arranged to present students with an academic challenge and we encourage and nurture their growing independence. There is a dedicated Sixth Form study area, social centre, internet café and a higher education and careers centre to guide pupils through their UCAS applications. We also offer a variety of extra qualifications to our pupils in order to enhance their CV.
