A LINK between a school in Tewkesbury and one in Africa is growing stronger.

Kathrynne Newcombe, a teacher at Tewkesbury School, recently returned from a trip to Zambia.

She spent time at Chifubu High School as it is linked with Tewkesbury School as part of the Global Citizen Partnership programme.

Mrs Newcombe said: "The staff in Chifubu were so welcoming and friendly and I felt at home very quickly.
