Jones is pick of Rangers players

BARRY Jones picked up the players' player of the year award at Ruardean Hill Rangers Football Club. Dave Taylor collected the manager's player of the year award.

The second team award went to Aaron Underwood, with Joe Kilty collecting the young player of the year prize.

Jonty Cornes received the Danny Mansell Shield and Adrian Cole was named clubman of the year.

Rangers finished third in the North Gloucestershire Premier Division, while the reserves came second in Division Three and also reached the Pope Cup final.

Next season, Ian James will take over as first-team manager with Adrian Cole and Nick Matthews continuing to run the reserves. Outgoing manager Kim Pritchard will remain on the club's committee.

Club training resumes on Wednesday July 1.
