Lawson to skipper Scotland A
The 28-year-old former Edinburgh man has been capped 15 times at senior level by Scotland and is a previous skipper of the A side.
Lawson replaces Perpignan's former Glasgow Warriors ace Chris Cusiter in the side following Saturday's 49-7 win against Russia.
With stiff competition for the number 9 jersey in the Scotland camp from Cusiter and Lions tourist Mike Bliar, Lawson will be hoping to impress new coach Andy Robinson.
Robinson, who is leading the Scotland squad for the Romanian tournament has been impressed with the attitude of the Gloucester man.
He said: "Rory has captained the A side before and did a good job. He is a good leader and I've been impressed with him."
Fellow Gloucester man Scott Lawson, who scored a try in the win against Russia has been named on the replacements bench.
