Cyclist injured in Gloucester hit and run

Police are appealing for witnesses following a hit-and-run collision in Gloucester on Wednesday.

The collision, involving a cyclist and a car, took place at 8.25am in London Road.

The driver of the car failed to stop following the collision.

The cyclist, a 25-year-old woman, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital where she received treatment for a minor leg injury.

The car that was involved in the collision is described as a silver or grey family sized car, possibly a Ford Mondeo.

Anyone who witnessed, or who has any information about the collision, is asked to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary on 0845 090 1234 quoting incident 101 of September 30.
