Petrol heads rev into Cleeve

Sunday, July 26, 2009, 17:00

Horsepower and top speeds were the topics of the day as petrolheads revved up for Cheltenham's first Autofest.

More than 160 classic car owners rolled up at Bishop's Cleeve Football Club this weekend to show off their vehicles and talk about their passion with fellow enthusiasts.

The event was opened up to members of the public today and interested residents spent a happy afternoon wandering through the rows of Dodge Vipers, Triumphs and Cadillacs.

Organiser Martin Peters said he was delighted with the turn-out and promised to return next year.
