HAVE YOUR SAY: Broadband speeds

Wednesday, July 02, 2008, 10:41

Broadband provider Virgin Media has been told to clarify advertisements over internet speeds.

A complaint made by BT regarding the Virgin 'Hate to Wait?' campaign has been upheld by the Advertising Standards Agency.

BT argued that Virgin's usage caps meant that downloads during peak times would be slower than advertised.

The ASA has agreed and ordered Virgin to make it clear that speeds will vary.

Do you have broadband and is it as fast as it is made out to be? Or are you struggling with download limits and slow connections?
