SHOW Me the Funny winner Patrick Monahan will bring his lovable style to the Cheltenham stage this week.

The comedian enjoyed a meteoric rise up the comedy ladder last year, becoming a household name with appearances on TV shows such as Loose Women, Daybreak, The Wright Stuff and Big Brother's Bit On The Side.

But it was the stand-up's winning appearances in the ITV1 comedy talent series Show Me The Funny that really brought him to the attention of the nation.

Patrick has made his name with his high energy style with hilarious and engaging stories of his Irish-Iranian-Teeside heritage.

The comic will be back on our screens again later this month when he takes part in Let's Dance for Sport Relief.

In his latest live show, Hug Me I Feel Good, which is direct from critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Festival, Patrick is offering audiences the chance to laugh and be hugged at the same time.
