11.31am - Memorial for Becky Kingsland

Wednesday, July 09, 2008, 11:13

A memorial for Becky Kingsland and her two children, Alanah, 2, and Logan, 8 months, who died in a road traffic collision in Sharpness, is being held in Berkeley this Friday.

The service will take place at St Mary's Church at 2pm on Friday July 11 and has a pink theme, so anyone attending who would like to wear an item of pink clothing in memory of Becky are welcome to do so.

The family would also like to invite those who wish to celebrate the lives of Becky, Alanah and Logan to a wake, following the service, at the Berkley Arms.

Becky's family said; "We have been incredibly moved by the amount of people that have been in touch during this time and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has offered their support.

"We would also like to thank the officers from Gloucestershire Police and everyone from the emergency services for all their help."

A second service will be held in Becky's hometown of Plymouth of Tuesday July 15.

The family have asked that in lieu of floral donations, that donations be made to 'Winston's Wish' and the 'National Blind Children's Association'.
