11.37pm - Police appeal after girl collides with cyclist

 Police are appealling for witnesses to an incident involving a cyclist and a young girl in the Lower High Street, Cheltenham on Friday afternoon.

The incident happened at 4.30pm, when a female cyclist collided with a young girl at the junction of the Lower High Street and St Paul's Street.

The cyclist involved has been interviewed by CID after remaining at the scene and contacting the police.

Millie Harrop, 5, the girl involved in the accident, was taken to Frenchay Hospital where she appears to be recovering well and her condition is no longer believed to be life threatening.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary on 0845 090 1234 quoting incident number 525 of June 13.
