11.45am - Is this a picture of a Tewkesbury ghost?

ANN Martin never used to believe in ghosts until her son took this spooky picture at Tewkesbury Rugby Club.

Twelve-year-old Jordan Sanders appears to have captured an apparition of a young woman with dark hair.

The image is to the right of the couple on the dance floor at the Gander Lane club.

Perhaps it was just the way the light from the DJ's spotlight was shining, but Ann, from Northway, thinks it might be something spiritual.

She said: "It was a shock when I saw the picture. It looks pretty clear to me and it looks so real.

"Jordan is quite excited about it. It's a bit weird."

The picture, taken at the wedding of Nigel and Helen Davis, has raised the question of whether the club is haunted.

Club official Kev Watkins said it was possible as a few strange things had happened over the years.

He said he was working alone at the club recently when he had a strong sense that someone was behind him.

But when he turned around there was no-one there at all.
