What caused mystery lights over Charlton Kings?
Residents in Pilford Road in Charlton Kings watched four lights move across the sky above the town at around 6.30pm on Friday evening.
One of the people who saw the lights in Cheltenham's MP Martin Horwood.
He said: "There were four lights in the sky, looking like little fire lights."
"They were moving quite slowly towards Leckhampton in perfect formation, a sort of wonky parallelogram, not a rectangle."
Another viewer was Kenneth page who lives in Pilford Road.
He said: "There were plenty of people who saw it, at least four men and several children who were out for Halloween.
"The lights held formation, their relative position to each other, and went out of sight near the Devil's Chimney.
"We kept them in view for the better part of five minutes."
Mr Page said he thought the lights might have been on one vehicle rather than four separate craft.
Using a ruler and map he estimated the possible course of the lights.
He said: "If it had kept to a straight course it should have been visible from Whaddon and Prestbury and the line goes to the cemetery."
He added : "I'm keeping an open mind as to what the lights might have been."
