Energy answer lies in Europe

There is much talk by government of the need to diversify our energy sources.
One would expect this to include visible evidence throughout the country of domestic and community-based wind and solar generating schemes.
These are common on the continent.
Might I suggest that The Citizen seeks out some examples of a rare breed: the environmentally concerned citizens in the county who have persisted against the odds and actually succeeded in obtaining a grant towards installing wind-power or photo-voltaic (eletricity-producing) solar panels.
Before their unpredictable and unsustained supply of financial chicken feed finally disappears in the light of the new dawn of nuclear power, it would be interesting to hear what the endangered species of "micro-generators" have to say.
