Little change in the last century

Wednesday, August 27, 2008, 08:00

GOING through some old newspapers I cam across a copy of 'Birmingham Mail' dated July 8, 1912, wherein the weather was reported as being "cold, rainy and that sunshine was badly needed, also farmers were worried over the outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease in cattle, there would be a shortage of hay as cutting had been so delayed".

Another example of 'history repeating itself'.

Not much change in 96 years!
