What's your favourite Gloucestershire day out?

It would have to be my baby the MADE Market! It's a monthly indie arts and crafts market at Gloucester Folk Museum. The level of creative talent from our sellers is quite inspirational and the vintage tearooms on site are an added bonus. Otherwise, the huge car boot sale at Cheltenham Race Course

And your favourite place to eat out in the county?

JRool Bistro in Stroud is lovely – it's small, intimate, and the food is so good – fresh, and a lbit different.

What's the worst job you've ever had?

A three-day stint as a recycling officer at the Royal Welsh Show. I'm all for recycling, but this job involved fishing through rubbish bins and skips in a fetching cap and high vis vest combo, and it didn't stop raining the entire time.

Have you got any unusual habits?

I do have two annoying ones – constantly playing with my hair to find split ends, and wearing nail varnish for way too long before taking it off. Neither are very dignified.

Who is your hero and why?

In real life it's my beautiful one-year-old daughter, for being an awesome little human. She's got an amazing spirit about her and makes me laugh constantly. My fictional heroes are Coach and Tami Taylor from the TV show Friday Night Lights – they're both determined and independent, but show unwavering solidarity

What book are you reading at or tell us your favourite?

Born to Run by Christopher McDougall. It's a documentary-style book about the Mexican Tarahumara, an ancient tribe reputed to be the best distance runners in the world.

What was the last film you watched?

Rise of the Planet of the Apes – enjoyable, but a bit predictable.

First single/record you ever bought?

Kylie Minogue – Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini and Mr Blobby, both on miniature vinyl.

Facebook or Twitter?

Twitter has the edge for me. I learn some brilliant snippets of information from my Twitter feed. My personal Twitter handle is @kfbradshaw, and also @theMADEMarket too.
