My life in Gloucestershire: Nikki Moore, Wye Valley AONB Information Officer
What's your favourite Gloucestershire day out?
It would have to be at Symonds Yat. It is a beautiful flagship for Gloucestershire and the Forest of Dean. My next, however, would be at Lancaut looking at the River Wye. It is a stunning locality and quite hidden away.
And your favourite place to eat out in the county?
The White Horse Inn, Staunton. This is the Staunton the last village in Gloucestershire before you go into Wales. The village is a fantastic place to walk around with incredible views and finish off with a fantastic meal at the end.

On the electric counter at Woolworths. I had an electric shock demonstrating light bulbs to a customer because I stuck my finger into the light fitting to see if it worked. Yes I know that was dumb.
Have you got any unusual habits?
I say good morning to magpies, but that is about it.
Who is your hero and why?
David Attenborough – a fantastic role model for wildlife conservation.
What book are you reading at the moment or tell us your favourite?
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. My favourite book, though, is Far from the Madding Crowd.
What was the last film you watched?
First single/record you ever bought?
Probably Hard Days Night. It was a long time ago.
