From little Acorns grows mighty run
RUNNERS of all ages laced up their trainers to take part in a charity run near Cheltenham.
Around 60 people took part in the Alderton 5km to raise funds for the village's Acorns pre-school and toddler group.

Alderton 5km run The run is open to anyone aged 12 and over and is a fairly flat course that makes it suitable for the those new to running looking to complete the course and more experience runners aiming to achieve a quick time. The purpose of the event is to raise money for the Alderton Acorns Pre-School and Toddler Group which a registered charity that has been central to local community for many years. There was also a prize raffle, an obstacle course and a treasure hunt for children.
Participants raised well over £1,000, aided from sponsorship from JoJo Maman Bebe.
