It started with six girls having a kickaround at Naunton Park and has now grown into a thriving club, with a base at the Civil Service Sports ground on Tewkesbury Road.
Goodhall is a well known and popular figure in Cheltenham footballing circles.
He joined Cheltenham Saracens at 16 and he enjoyed running teams from an early age.
He ran Arle Old Boys before taking charge of Cheltenham Saracens' second team.
He then guided Cheltenham Civil Service to back-to-back promotions from the Cheltenham League to Division One of the Northern Senior League.
Goodhall carried on playing until he was 50, but has since dedicated most his spare time to helping girls football thrive.
"I love football and I love people, so I've always enjoyed being involved and running teams, giving people a chance to play and enjoy themselves," he said. "The most important thing is to have a wife who supports you and I've been lucky enough to have that with my wife Shirley."
â The closing date for nominations to the awards has been extended to next Friday.
