Top manager gong for Owen
BEECHWOOD Shopping Centre's manager Owen Acland has been named Shopping Centre Manager of the Year by UK managing agents Workman Retail.
Mr Acland, who has been manager at Beechwood for nearly three years, was chosen for the accolade from more than 60 Workman managers nationwide.
"It was a very pleasant surprise but totally unexpected as I'm aware of the high quality of my colleagues in the company around the country and of their achievements," said Mr Acland.
Mr Acland said he was delighted and honoured to receive the award and accepted it on behalf of the Beechwood team "as we all work together and I wouldn't have won without the help and support from everyone."
