Three men bailed following alleged fight at Bank House pub in Cheltenham

Punters celebrating the end of Gold Cup week were asked to leave a busy Cheltenham pub early after multiple arrests were made at the premises.

Police were called to the Bank House in Clarence Street, Cheltenham, at around 9.40pm on March 15 following reports of disorder.A number of men had been requested to leave the pub by door staff because they were "intoxicated" but had refused to leave.Three men were arrested and the pub voluntarily closed its doors early for the evening following discussions with officers.

A 47-year-old man from Solihull and a 47-year-old man from Birmingham were arrested on suspicion of affray.A 34-year-old man from Birmingham was also arrested on suspicion of affray, assault and supply of a class A drug.The trio have been bailed and will return to Cheltenham Police station on April 29.
