Local firm ProCook and sportswear giants Nike will become the latest stores to open at Gloucester Quays on Friday.

Both will open their doors to the public at 10am.

The ProCook store will sell a wide range of cooking utensils, including a selection of knives, utensils, cookware, bakeware, and accessories.

All customers visiting the store tomorrow will be given a voucher entitling them to an extra 10% off prices, valid until Sunday.

The Nike shop will sell authentic athletic footwear, apparel, equipment and accessories for a wide variety of sports and fitness activities.

To celebrate their opening the first 200 customers to make a purchase in the new store will receive a free gift from Nike.

“Han, chelt - ProCook as far as am aware have multiple stores around the country and have been open for years, no reason that the Quays will be any different.  As Ai mentions earlier, they closed their High Street stores only and operate in outlet style only now.  Is that why Blacks and Freespirit have boarded up shop fronts in Cheltenham now, whilst Gloucester's store continues to trade successfully?

Other known operators to opening before Christmas include Nando's, Perfume Designer, Pizza Express and All Things Chocolate (Café & store)!  I have heard some big, big household names/operators coming in 2010 but cannot mention here!

It's all good news as far as am concerned.”
