No pay for Gloucester's Unilever staff
Thousands of Unilever staff across the county - including at the Gloucester site - have not been paid today.
The 21st of every month is pay day for the staff at the international food and health product firm, but Gloucester workers were shocked to find they had not been paid.
Unilever blamed it on a system error and promised to get it sorted.
But one worker at the Barnwood Point site, who did not want to be named, said: "I checked my bank account this morning and I was shocked we hadn't been paid.

"Everyone's really angry about it because it has messed up our direct debits, many of which go out today."
A Unilever spokesperson said: "As a result of a payroll error, none of our Unilever employees in the UK have received their salary payment today. We are working very hard with our service providers to resolve the issue as a matter of urgency and will keep our employees updated throughout the day.
"Should employees incur any fees as a consequence of this error, our service providers will reimburse them in full.
"We sincerely apologise to all of our Unilever colleagues who have been affected."
