“I can see some race hatred attacks if things aren't brought under control soon. I'm not sure what the rioters were doing this for, unless it was purely for looting purposes, but from the few who were interviewed on TV, it seems as if they're unhappy with foreigners stealing our jobs. I do have some sympathy with that view, but don't condone violence.
I also believe that the police are too heavy handed in this country and this is causing resentment in today's society and not just from young people. You only have to look at some recent cases such as the drunken 58 year old women who was beaten up by the custody officer in Wiltshire. However, if people have an issue with the police they should take it up with the police and not smash up the streets. Peace is the best way for all concerned.”
