Two popular Gloucestershire nurses scoop national award
Two popular Gloucestershire nurses have scooped a national nursing award.
Debbie Sibley, of College Yard surgery in Gloucester, and Gail Winter, of Sevenposts surgery in Cheltenham won the Bank Nurses Award on Tuesday at the 2013 Nursing Standard Awards at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

The Bank Nurses Award was awarded to the pair for their work helping to deliver a programme to people who have been newly diagnosed with diabetes.
The Diabetes Self Management for Ongoing and Newly Diagnosed (DESMOND) programme delivers patient education to people with Type 2 diabetes.

Debbie and Gail deliver the programme as bank nurses, whilst also working in their surgeries.
