£150,000 bid to expand owl centre
A CAMPAIGN has been launched to raise £150,000 to expand Gloucestershire's Barn Owl Centre.
Last month it was given the go-ahead to buy Netheridge Farm from Gloucester City Council.
The 12-acre site in Hempsted, popular with visitors across Gloucestershire, has been leased to the charity for the last five years.
It now needs to raise the funds to buy the farm and transform it into a permanent base for its work with birds and wildlife. See www.barnowl.co.uk.

“This is great news for the barn owl centre it looks after the birds that some people abuse and then they try with hard work to get them doing what comes natually to the wild birds of prey. This part of the centre is needed for training the birds when the birds are getting better.
If everyone could donate £1.00 towards this project who are interested in wild life then it should not take to long to raise .This will help to secure the future of the barnowl centre for the birds , which in time will be a brilliant place to visit.
Please go the the web site and see for yourself.
Go vince!
