Three protestors will not face further action after arrests in Newent badger cull zone
THREE people arrested last week in the badger cull zones will face no further action from police officers.
Gloucestershire Police arrested three people in the early hours of last Thursday morning as part of Operation Themis.
Included in those arrests was 52-year-old Rebecca Reid, who flew over from Pittsburgh, USA to protest the badger cull in Gloucestershire.
She had been due to return to Cheltenham police station yesterday.

A spokeswoman for the police said: “A man from Walsall, a woman from Pittsburgh in the United States of America and a woman from South Croyden in Surrey were arrested in the Kent's Green area of Newent at around 1.45am last Thursday.
“They had been arrested on suspicion of aggravated trespass.
“All three had been bailed to return to the police station at a later date. This has now been cancelled.”
