“ If you havent heard of the Hollow bottom, WHY NOT? the food is superb, the atmosphere is brilliant (especially if you like horse racing) and all round it is a FANTASIC public house. again, the food is worth every penny, and not badly priced. it's a small place to find, but once you're there you wont want to leave. ”

The Hollow Bottom Public House – Traditional English Free House & Pub Restaurant Cheltenham
The Hollow Bottom is a cosy Cotswolds pub where the food is great, the beer flows freely and the racing never stops.
We are a family pub welcoming those young and old. The bar has plenty of space and is popular with local members of the horse riding fraternity due to our long traditional with the Cheltenham Races. We serve local beers and ales, larger, wines, quality spirits, malts and cider is a permanent fixture of course. We also serve a range of soft drinks, fruit juices and teas and coffees.
We serve traditional English pub grub in our bar and restaurant and have won ‘Best Pub Food’ award from Taste of Gloucestershire’s Food and Farming Awards in 2011/2012. Pub Food is fresh, seasonal and is served all day with three Sunday Carvery sittings throughout Sunday afternoons.
We have seats both inside and outside, and a large beer garden with children’s play area to be enjoyed during the summer. We are confident that you will love our country pub and we therefore have 4* overnight bed & breakfast accommodation should you wish to stay!

“I've 'popped' into The Hollow Bottom a couple of times when visiting the Cotswolds. It never fails to welcome me and normally a wet/muddy dog- depending on the time of year! Staff are friendly, the fire is stoked, the beer is cold and the atmosphere is great. A proper Country Pub!”
