More rain on the way as flood warnings remain in Gloucestershire
Dozens of flood warnings are still in place across Gloucestershire as the clock ticks towards yet more prolonged heavy rainfall.
The Met Office has the region on yellow alert, with more downpours set to begin this evening and through the night.
A massive clean-up operation is underway in Upper Lydbrook in the Forest of the Dean, where fire and rescue teams have laid a 2km long pipe to pump waist high water out of the village and into the River Wye.
Chalford has also been badly hit, and landslips have occurred in Drybrook and Wotton-under-Edge.

In Gloucester, Lobleys Drive has again been badly affected and residents have reported seeing more drivers taking to the pavement to drive around huge pools of flood water. The same happened when the road was closed earlier this week.
