C&W's African Experience Restaurant and Take-Away is the only African restaurant in Gloucestershire

Hello from Charlie & Wanja of C&W's African Experience Restaurant and Take-Away!

When we decided to try to bring African food to Gloucester, we wanted to bring with it the full traditional African experience. In our African restaurant, we hope that’s what you’ll find.

We aim to make our restaurant a home-from-home experience for you. When you book, you choose your traditional African dishes in advance. We then cook your meal on the day of your booking using fresh ingredients and have it ready for when you come in.

You can tailor your dishes to your tastes and specify how spicy you’d like your meal and also when you’d like your courses to be ready for – just like you could at home.

You then chat and relax in our laid back and cosy atmosphere, taking in the African music in the background and the traditional African decor. It is our pleasure to invite you into our restaurant and we will do all we can to make you comfortable whilst preparing your meal.

We encourage you to sample a variety of dishes from our menu to get a taste for a range of dishes, including from our all year round outdoor BBQ. African food is usually eaten with hands, give it a try if you’d like!
