It's flu time
FLU could be the second illness to blight families over the Christmas break after Norovirus forced ward closures at hospitals in Gloucestershire.
Health officials have warned the flu season has officially started and have told doctors they can prescribe antiviral medication. Wards 9b and 8a at GRH are closed and Prescott and Guiting wards in Cheltenham have also temporarily been shut off to the public because of the winter vomiting bug.
