YOUNG nature lovers should head to Westonbirt Arboretum on Sunday for a day of fun and celebrations.

The Forest Discovery Day aims to teach youngsters all about the different types of trees, plants and wildlife in all their early autumn glory.

The list of activities includes a visit from the RSPB from 11am to 4pm, who will lead an arts and crafts game where kids can make their own bat.

Fascinating facts about the bats which call the arboretum home will be revealed.
