ENGLISH Civil War re-enactors fired an hourly canon shot as they turned back the clock for visitors to historic Berkeley Castle.

The members of the Sealed Knot were in full costume, with muskets to hand, as they showed the crowds how soldiers camped, cooked and fought at the site in the 17th Century.
