At Wednesday's fans forum Chairman Tom Walkinshaw stressed the importance of separating the on and off field management of the playing staff.

“I doubt we have the funds for someone like Jake White. John Kirwin would be my choice. A coach who got the Italian team playing rugby and has a good reputation for man management and good structured game plans. He is currently coach of Japan I think but the lure of Glos could be tempting for him?”
