Out of the shadows with record
THE town's Toy and Shadow Theatre Festival enjoyed its biggest audience to date.
The event drew the crowds in the holidays in aid of underprivileged children who have never been on holiday.
Colin Bailey, from Charlton Kings, has been organising the festival since it started in 2006.
Held at the Bayshill Unitarian Church Hall, audiences of around 250 people turned out to see the performances – with a full house on Saturday of around 140 people.

Performers came from across the country to take part in the shows.
Mr Bailey said the cash from the event was still being counted, but he anticipated it would have raised around £350.
