A song in the shower will set you up
SINGING in the shower helps people in Cheltenham look on the bright side reveals a new survey.
Monty Python's Always Look on the Bright Side of Life, is the town's favourite song says research by Mira Showers.

A survey of 1,000 shower-users showed the Python anthem pipped Lady Gaga's current hit Poker Face and Abba's disco classic Dancing Queen to the number one wash time tune.
The Mira research also reveals over 47.5 million Brits are far from retiring and revel in tickling their tonsils in the shower every week.
In Cheltenham, 29 per cent tend to sing and scrub every day, higher than the national average.
People in the town are most likely to sing on Fridays, clearly looking forward to the weekend and the main reason, at 57 per cent, was it puts them in a good mood.
Nationally, most people strike a chord on Saturdays and the most popular time is before work, closely followed by getting ready for a night on the town or over the weekend.
Being in a rush, worried, tired or in a bad mood can kill the music.
Psychologist Donna Dawson said:
"Singing in the shower first thing in the morning can set you up for a day of higher achievement and clearer thinking.
"This is because research has shown that 'singing' releases pain-relieving endorphins into the body, making you feel energised.
"It also raises mood, boosts the immune system, works the cardiovascular system, releases muscle tension, improves mental alertness and increases self-confidence.
"And being in the shower while singing can increase all the aforementioned effects because a tiled bathroom amplifies the sound, while being on your own allows you to sing more freely."
Philip Chambon, Senior Lecturer in Music Technology and Popular Music at Kingston University said:
"Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life' is the nation's favourite song to sing in the shower because it is musically accessible with a jaunty rhythm and optimistic lyrics."
