There are four categories; up to nine months old, 10 to 18 months, 19 to 26 months and three to five years. The child with the most votes will be named the Echo Baby and Toddler of the Year 2012, and win £1,000.

Nigel Black, marketing manager for Gloucestershire Media, said: "We want to encourage people to get their photos taken on the last day. We don't want anyone to miss out." There will be a photo session on Tuesday at the Roses Theatre, Tewkesbury, from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Parents should return on Thursday or Friday next week to select their favourite photos.
