A total Bore
IF you've never experienced the Severn Bore before, now is the time to catch it in all its splendour before the summer ends.
On Thursday the bore will be the highest it will be all year and the surfers should be out on the river riding its waves.
There should be good waves from Wednesday for five days and the best places to spot it include Newnham, Severn Bore Inn, Minsterworth church, Stone Bench and Over bridge.
One of Britain's very few spectacular natural offerings, the bore is a large surge wave that can be seen on the River Severn.
Gents, come in to Earl's & Co and enjoy a haircut and finish, glass of whisky and a shoeshine for £18.50

Its tidal range is the second highest in the world and can rise to as much as 50ft.
The bore is created when water is funnelled into an increasingly narrower channel in the Severn estuary as the tide rises, forming the large waves.
