A WEBSITE has been launched in support of the Great Crane Project.

The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, RSPB and Pensthorpe Conservation Trust, with funding from Viridor Credits Environmental Company, has been launched to help people follow the reintroduction of cranes to the Somerset Levels and Moors. Their eggs were collected in Germany, and the young cranes are being raised at WWT Slimbridge, before being released in Somerset in the autumn.

Anyone interested in more details of the birds can visit www.thegreat craneproject.org.uk.
