Call of the wild
IT'S a play which has been billed as a "new drama but an age old conflict."
Snared, which will take place at The Everyman Studio Theatre next week, is set in a bush camp in Africa.
A white hunter has been captured by an anti-poaching unit and desperately pleads for his life.
Issues of conservation, population expansion and the impact of tourism unfold in a production which features shocking images and film footage alongside live action.

Snared supports the work of The Born Free Foundation and The High Five Club funding de-snaring and poverty alleviation projects in Africa.
As we enjoy the breathtaking BBC series Africa by legendary broadcaster David Attenborough, and as Channel 5 host Charlie Boorman's South African Adventure the issues surrounding wildlife conservation and population expansion are never more current.
David Allen, head of marketing at the venue said: "Snared is a new play presented in a multimedia style, live action fused with filmed footage and authentic testimony in an issue based drama that is intended to be both shocking and deeply affecting."
The play takes place next Friday and Saturday with performances at 2pm and 7.45pm. Tickets cost from £9. Call 01242 572573.
